About Us

DICE CREW KENYA

D.I.C.E. is the acronym for Dedicated in Christ's Expressions. We are a dance group that is based in the church Nairobi Chapel Youth Ministry Club Expressions.

Brief History
D.I.C.E. dance group started as a back up team for the Praise and Worship group Kuhani (Priest) which was mainly involved in making a worship experience better in church through dancing. As years passed by, one of the founder members Jackson Ndirangu felt the need for more cohesion and vision for the group. From that he and a team of founders sat down and made D.I.C.E. a Ministry dance team. So he added on to the group a few more committed and dedicated members.

On 2nd of September 2007, D.I.C.E. became a fully fledged Ministry dance group being active in the church and gaining recognition even outside the Church.

Through this we have seen a series of growth through leadership, character development and discipleship.
This is shown through the handing over of leadership from Jackson Ndirangu to John Damiano to now the current leader Paul Damiano

We are driven by the fact that we have a vision and mission

Vision
To become a ministry team that transforms lives all for an audience of one.

Mission
To use dance as a tool of ministry and evangelism as well as mentorship/discipleship for the greater commission.


Achievements

• Nominated for the Annual Groove Awards Kenya in the category Dance group of the year 2009 and 2010.
• Emerged 7th out of 21 dance groups in the processional category in the Stompers Performing Arts festivals 2009.
• Nominated in the Mwafaka Awards 2010 under the category Dance Group of the Year.
• Won the Kenya Dance Krew Awards after being Nominated in the Nairobi Dance group of the Year and The teen dance group of the year which we scooped the teen dance group of the year 2012 and many more.
• Emerged 2nd place in the professional category in Stompers Performing Arts Festivals(SPA FEST) 2014
• Have worked with artist; dancing in music videos; Niko Huru by Lady Bee, Usiku Na Mchana by Kambua, 5 stones by Recapp ft Rigga
• Over the years, Dice Crew has been able to feature in various TV shows; AM Live, Crossover 101, Kubamba TV
• We have an annual concert: SWAG Experience since 2013 which involves community service and finally a concert at the end

About me
I started dance at the age of 14 and joined DICE one year later. I have a big dream of becoming a professional dancer and a choreographer and professionally I would like to become an architect.

I am one of the choreographers in DICE

About me

I have completed my studies at Kenya Instute of Media and Technology. I am a dancer at heart and a great one I must add. I joined DICE in 2011 after graduating from Highschool and am a member of DICE..
